The break of a lifetime – the hen party organisation!

I’ve got a hen party to arrange.  We decided that we’d go abroad for a week – but where to go.  We could have gone to Ibiza, but the hen said she didn’t want to go to somewhere that was full on party – she’d had a hard year, losing her dad to cancer and her mom wasn’t doing much better right now, so the holiday was supposed to be a treat too.  So we looked into cheap Holidays to Gran Canaria with Jet2holidays.com – one for now, and one as a surprise present for her honeymoon.

So, I had to find proper holiday accommodation, proper places to stay, a nice room for us and the rest of the bridal party, plus the friends that were coming too.  The ‘bridal party’ eventually settled on a small villa, while others opted to stay at a nearby hotel.  Meanwhile, I’m arranging all of this WITHOUT discussing it with my best friend, and that was really difficult!  I found it all the harder because she didn’t really know what I was up to – and she felt really upset during the whole process.  But we got cheap Holidays to Gran Canaria with Jet2holidays.com booked with ease, and after that it was plain sailing.  Her husband to be knows what we’re up to too, and he likes the idea of taking her back and checking out what she found.
